i dreamed of you last night.
it all seemed so real,
we were walking you and me,
side by side.
and remember that old folks home,
we stood outside there,
when suddenly i hugged you,
it felt so real,
the warmth from your body,
the comfort.
i cried as i hugged you and you lifted my chin,
we kissed.
it felt surreal that kiss.
and you smiled and i knew everything
was gonna be alright.
but reality,
REALITY pulled back this dreamer,
threw her back into the cold harsh truth,
but this dreamer shan't sulk nor frown,
for she knows she have loved you
still am loving you.
i'm not a lost soul,
not a broken-winged bird,
i'm just a romantic
who believes in love
and won't give up loving one that easily.
